There's so much more to a child-led approach than simply following our students' lead.Â
That fact that you're here right now shows that you’re already getting a lot of things right:
- You’re focusing on connection over compliance.
- You're incorporating your students' interests.
- And you're constantly trying to learn more and do better!
But… there are so many barriers to truly using a child-led approach with your autistic students.

Maybe right now you feel like…

You're fighting an uphill battle against an outdated school system.

You're being judged for "letting kids do whatever the want" by adults who prioritize compliance.

You aren't sure how to embed learning opportunities and track progress in a child-led approach.

You're trying to follow your students' lead, but you don't know how to support their engagement.

It's impossible to be child-led when in a classroom or group setting with multiple students.
We're here to help you find a better way!

Imagine how it would feel to...

Finally have a clear, confident approach to supporting autistic kids: one that’s child-led, neuroaffirming, and actually works.

Empower your autistic students thrive by creating an environment built on connection and engagement.

Feel confident in your approach- with proven strategies, expert insights, and an action plan that helps you get back to what brought you here: making a difference.

What makes this event unique
The Child-Led Autism Summit is unlike any other professional development event in the autism space. This is not just another conference filled with traditional lectures—it's a revolutionary gathering of thought leaders who are ready to embrace neuroaffirming, child-led approaches to supporting autistic kids.
To plan this summit, we spoke with hundreds of SLPs and special educators about the barriers they face when implementing a child-led approach. We listened to each challenge and designed presentations with your real needs in mind.Â
Each session is just 20-30 minutes, meaning there's no fluff to be found. But these intentionally short sessions are anything but surface level! You will walk away with real, actionable strategies that you can use right away.Â

Autistic students need a different approach, and you're ready to deliver.
It’s time to stop stressing over sessions and data collection and finally feel confident that what you're doing is making a meaningful difference.

MEET YOUR HOST
Hi! I'm Nicole Casey. I'm a speech-language pathologist and mom of two toddlers. Over my 11 years in the field, I've seen firsthand the challenges professionals are faced when it comes to implementing a child-led and neuroaffirming approach in an outdated, ableist system.Â
I'm here to guide you in honoring what you already know to be true: that both you and your students deserve better than a system that is designed to highlight deficits and enforce compliance.
I've curated a group of incredibly passionate speakers who each have powerful insight to share. Together, we'll shake up the autism space and lean into the connection that we know is the foundation for all skills!
